Xiaomi 12 Lite Caught in the Wild; Hands-On Photos and Benchmarks Surface

In Xiaomi’s flagship Xiaomi 12 range, the Xiaomi 12 Lite is the more budget-friendly choice. The phone has already been rumoured and certified several times. The Xiaomi 12 Lite has only recently been revealed in hands-on images. Furthermore, pre-release benchmarks reveal performance data.

The images show the Xiaomi 12 Lite from various perspectives, according to a Chinese source. Sharp, flat sides and narrow bezels characterize the Xiaomi 12 Lite. In this leak, the phone is shown in a matte grey color scheme. In addition, the camera configuration is nearly identical to that of the Xiaomi 12. Overall, the design is sleek, polished, and high-end.

To access the phone’s O-hole display, turn it over. The display is a flat 6.55″ AMOLED with a 1080P resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint reader. This display is encased by a narrow and consistent bezel. Surround sound is provided by dual speakers, and remote control is provided by an IR blaster. Finally, there are 108MP wide, 8MP ultra-wide, and 5MP macro cameras in the rear camera cluster.

Geekbench, a popular cross-platform benchmark, has also posted pre-release benchmarks for Xiaomi’s newest lightweight smartphone. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor is at the heart of this phone, which is supported by a 4500 mAh battery with 67W rapid charging capabilities, according to the description.

On the initial boot, the phone runs Android 12 x MIUI. The Xiaomi 12 scores a decent 2864 points when all cores are active, and 788 points in single-core testing. In the next weeks, we should have additional information.
