Vivo X80 Specification Sheet Detailed in a Last-minute Leak; Cutting-edge Chip, Huge Display

The successor to the Vivo X70 Pro is barely a day away from going on sale. The design and core features of the upcoming Vivo X80 Series have already been highlighted in official promos and teaser trailers. However, a last-minute leak has just revealed the X80’s detailed specification sheet.

Let’s start with the design and proportions. This year, the majority of popular phone manufacturers have made their entry-level flagships smaller. Samsung, Apple, and Xiaomi are all offering 6.1-6.2″ screen sizes on their basic flagship phones. Vivo is going in the opposite direction with the massive 6.78″ curved display on the Vivo X80.

A similar treatment is given to the camera island, which is shaped like a black rectangle and spans the width of the backplate. A second circular housing, holding a cluster of three lenses, lies atop this rectangle. 50MP 1/1.56″ f/1.76 wide, 12MP 2x telephoto, and 12MP ultra-wide cameras are on the horizon. The Vivo X80 is available in three colors: orange, blue, and black.

The new Vivo flagship phone’s AMOLED screen has a 1080P resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor is at the heart of this phone, which is backed up by a large 4500 mAh battery. Vivo has increased charging support to 80W, which could shorten charging times.
