Samsung stunned everyone yesterday by announcing an ‘Unpacked part 2’ event for October 20, adding to what was already building up to be a rather busy week in terms of tech announcements, with Apple and Google hosting events as well.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! One would believe that Samsung was intending to finally make the Galaxy S21 FE official, a phone that has been speculated to be delayed numerous times due to a chip shortage. You’d be wrong if you thought the S21 FE would be the start of next week’s program, according to various sources who all corroborated each other’s tweets today.
The Galaxy S21 FE’s mass production was reportedly pushed back to December, so Samsung obviously can’t unveil a phone that it won’t be able to produce for a few months. Rather, all of the sources have agreed that the unveiling will take place in January, with one even specifying a precise date: mark your calendars for January 11, ladies and gentlemen. If this turns out to be the case, we’ll have no idea what to expect from next week’s event. Also, if the Galaxy S21 FE does arrive in January, a previous report that the Galaxy S22 family’s introduction would be moved to February to avoid taking the spotlight away from the S21 FE would make even more sense.
