Samsung Galaxy A53 5G Certified to Ship with a 15W Fast Charger in the Box

If the previous release cycle of the Korean phone manufacturer is any indication, the Samsung Galaxy A52s/A52 sequel should arrive in late February or early March. Unofficial product mockups based on leaked prototypes have already been seen with the phone. Samsung is scrambling to get the Galaxy A53 registered as the launch date approaches. Another federal agency just verified the A53 battery specifications.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is included in the Chinese 3C database, which includes information about the phone’s charging capabilities. The A53 5G is identified by the model number “SM-A5360.” The charging brick with the model tag “EP-TA200” is mentioned in the relevant listing. This charger has a maximum output of 15 watts.

The phone’s charging speeds, on the other hand, might go well beyond 15W. A 15W charger is also included with the current-generation Galaxy A52 series. However, A52 phones can also charge from 25W power bricks. The Galaxy A53 5G will receive a similar treatment.

Samsung is rumored to be simplifying the Galaxy A5x series. As a result, the Galaxy A53 will not be available in a 4G version, which may have an impact on Samsung phone prices. The Exynos 1200 chipset is found in the single A53 model. As a result, after employing Qualcomm CPUs for the Galaxy A52 range, Samsung is reverting back to Exynos. The hardware is powered by Android 12 x OneUI.
