Oppo’s latest Reno 7 series is already available, however, the Reno 6 series is still available. Oppo launched the Reno 6 Lite in South America yesterday. It is a rebadged version of the Oppo F19, which is currently available in Pakistan.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor is at the heart of the phone. It’s a two-year-old entry-level chip, so expect it to start showing its age shortly. Regardless of the inexpensive chipset, the Oppo Reno 6 Lite is priced at the mid-range level.
The Qualcomm processor is powered by a 5000 mAh battery that guarantees all-day usage. When you run out of juice, the 33W charger included in the box swiftly recharges you. You also get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded. Finally, the Reno 6 Lite is powered by ColorOS 11 x Android 11.
Oppo Reno’s latest model isn’t particularly innovative in terms of design. The Oppo Reno 6 Lite is a standard plastic slab with chamfered sides and a camera rectangle. Rainbow Silver and Black finishes are available for the delicately textured casing. The camera housing also houses a cluster of three lenses and an LED flash.
We’re looking at a selection of 48MP f/1.7 wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP portrait shooters. Not to mention a 16MP front-facing camera to round out the package. A hole-punch cutout houses the front camera.

On the display, the cutout is off-center. A large chin and narrow bezels around the screen. It’s a 6.43″ 1080P AMOLED panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a maximum brightness of 800 nits. Oppo has also buried a fingerprint scanner beneath the display. The Oppo Reno 6 Lite costs MXN 8,799.
