The Elec, a popular Korean news outlet, reported that Samsung would be purchasing camera sensors from SK Hynix for the Samsung Galaxy A22 successor. It’s a South Korean semiconductor company that’s been the main provider of image sensors for Samsung’s lower-end phones. And their most recent sensor is better than ever in terms of performance and features.
The Galaxy A23 will have a 50MP SK Hynix sensor instead of the 48MP sensor from last year’s Galaxy A22. Samsung, on the other hand, is introducing optical picture stabilization (OIS.) Mechanical stabilization of any kind is uncommon in this price range.

The new affordable Samsung phone’s built-in stabilization will help you capture better night images and shake-free films. Furthermore, the Galaxy A23’s OIS should surely make it stand out amid the slew of similarly priced phones coming out of China. The quad-lens arrangement is completed by a 5MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and two low-res sensors (probably for macro and portrait photography). The Galaxy A23 is the only Galaxy A phone having a 4G model this year, aside from the Galaxy A13. Only 5G will be available on the higher-end devices. The Galaxy A23 LTE is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2022. However, the 5G edition will be released in Q2 of 2022.
