Poco is working on the M4 Pro 5G, which will be the successor of the M3 Pro 5G, which was introduced in May, as we reported earlier this month. We just knew the device’s name, model number, and that it had received the requisite approval from a number of certifying authorities throughout the world at the time.
That prompted us to believe that an official launch couldn’t be far off, and it turns out that we were correct. At least, if today’s rumor is to be believed, the Poco M4 Pro 5G will be released for international markets in late October or early November.
It will then most likely launch in India at a later date. The global launch, it appears, will be the first. The phone is expected to contain a MediaTek Dimensity SoC with 33W fast charging capabilities (a welcome bump from the 18W of its predecessor).
If the launch is truly coming in a matter of weeks, Poco’s social media platforms will certainly begin teasing the M4 Pro 5G very soon, at which point we may learn more about its specifications.
