The OnePlus lineup has been getting increasingly complicated in recent months, and the company’s upcoming smartphone will most likely continue this trend. We’re talking about the OnePlus 9 RT, which is expected to be on sale in less than a week, on October 13. This is in contrast to a previously announced date of October 15. We’ll find out soon enough which was correct (if any).
The phone has already been discovered in a benchmark database, and it’s slated to arrive in three colors and run Android 11 out of the box. Today, we have the first leaked press renders of the design, with the camera island taking center stage.
The OnePlus 9 RT is essentially a “T” update of the OnePlus 9R, which was released in April. The RT is expected to have a 120 Hz screen, a 4,500 mAh battery, and 65W charging, all of which are the same as its predecessor. The main camera sensor, which is said to be Sony’s 50 MP IMX766 sensor, might be a huge change. It’s also possible that the Snapdragon 870 will be replaced by the Snapdragon 888. According to reports, the OnePlus 9RT will only be sold in India and China.
