Xiaomi is already working on a successor to the Redmi Note 10 series, which debuted in the spring of this year. The next Redmi Note 11 series will bring the Chinese phone maker’s bi-annual release schedule to a close. We have their specifications and launch date to provide.
The debut of the Note 11 series, which includes the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro, has been teased by an official Xiaomi executive. It was immediately followed by a phone leaker from China who published the two phones’ specifications. On November 11, the Redmi Note 11 series will make its debut in China.
This season, the inexpensive Redmi series is getting a 5G makeover. The MediaTek Dimensity 810 chip within the base Redmi Note 11 provides a 5G connection. Memory is 6GB/8GB, with 128GB of internal storage. Everything is powered by a 5000 mAh battery that charges at 33W.
However, in order to introduce this next-generation connectivity, Xiaomi has sacrificed the screen and the Xiaomi mobile price. It’s now an IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate, rather than an OLED panel. This display houses a 13MP front camera on the Redmi Note 11 5G. A 50MP wide lens leads the back camera system.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro variant also supports 5G networks, but only through the Dimensity 920 mobile platform, which is more advanced. It keeps the previous generation’s OLED screen, which has a 120Hz resolution. This panel has a 16MP camera built in it. In addition, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G’s main camera features an ultra-high-resolution 108MP sensor.
At 67W, the 5000 mAh battery charges faster. Up to 256GB of storage and 8GB of memory are available. The Redmi Note 11 Pro also includes twin JBL-tuned speakers, cardless NFC payment compatibility, and a life-like vibration motor. The base edition costs 1,599 Yuan (about Rs. 42,500).
