In China, the Xiaomi 12 series will be unveiled later today. However, the rumor mill has continued to churn out last-minute disclosures. The initial product mockups, which are based on phone shells, show the Xiaomi 12 Ultra from various angles.

Before the CAD renders, the TPU case for the Xiaomi 12 Ultra had been making the rounds on Twitter, courtesy of the European publication LetsGoDigital. The premium phone is available in classic white and black.
We’re looking at a curved display, a ceramic casing, and a metal chassis. The camera housing, however, is the most noticeable component of its design. Every year, the cameras on Xiaomi flagships appear to become more complicated and advanced. And the Xiaomi 12 Ultra’s design is the most detailed yet.
The lens cluster’s massive ring housing sits atop a raised rectangle platform that protrudes a bit from the backplate, adding to the Xiaomi 5G new model’s overall thickness. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra cameras were co-engineered by Xiaomi and Leica, a renowned optics company. In these photographs, the ‘Leica’ branding is also stamped directly close to the camera ring.

Two periscope-style (count them, two!) zoom lenses, a wide-angle camera in the middle, and an ultra-wide-angle lens to finish out the configuration can all be seen. The camera array is flanked by a couple of unidentified sensors and an LED flash.
The front camera, which is not visible, is another standout. LetsGoDigital claims that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra has a 20MP front camera buried beneath the screen. This is far from confirmed.
