Xiaomi 12 Series is Launching Globally This Month; Launch Date Leaked

Last year, Xiaomi introduced its flagship series as a China-only offering. The Xiaomi 12 series is now available in markets around the world. The Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X will all be available this month in the United States. The following is a list of events that will take place during the launch.

On March 15, the Xiaomi 12 series will be released in Europe and India for the first time. Soon after, we expect it to be available in nearby Asian markets, such as Pakistan. According to rumors, Xiaomi is also planning a launch for the Xiaomi 12 Lite and Xiaomi 12 Ultra variants this year.

The design of Xiaomi’s new flagship series has been simplified and homogenized to perfection. Except for their dimensions, the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro appear to be similar. Both of these phones are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The Xiaomi 12 Pro’s charging speed reaches a stunning 120W. However, the Xiaomi 12’s power output is limited to 67W. (not as hyperfast but still competitive.)

The Xiaomi 12 sports a bright and smooth 120Hz 1080P OLED display, while the Xiaomi Pro sports a next-generation LTPO AMOLED with QHD+ resolution and dynamically variable refresh rates. On the rear of the Xiaomi 12 Pro are three 50-megapixel cameras for wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle, and telephoto photography. The Xiaomi 12 sports a 50MP wide, 13MP ultra-wide, and 5MP tele-macro camera array as standard.

The Xiaomi 12X is the cheapest of the trio, with a flatter 1080P OLED display. Aside from the screen, the Xiaomi 12X shares the same camera, battery, and charging specifications as the Xiaomi 12.
