The first quarter of 2022 will be a busy period for Xiaomi, as the company prepares to launch two new smartphone lines — the premium Xiaomi 12 series and the cheap Redmi Note 11 lineup — in the worldwide market. The Xiaomi 12 Pro has yet to receive an official response from the company. However, the phones continue to appear in public certifications and other documents. The benchmarks for the Xiaomi 12’s international edition were recently released.
The Xiaomi 12 is listed as the model number “2201123G” in the Geekbench 5 database (a prominent cross-platform benchmark).

This particular model has already been registered with Indonesian authorities. It was, after all, a connectivity certificate with no system specifications. The Geekbench 5 listing, on the other hand, provides us with the raw benchmark data as well as certain device specifications.
First and foremost, the Xiaomi 12 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor (no surprises there.) It’s the American chipmaker’s newest and most cutting-edge behemoth. In the paperwork, it’s given the codename ‘Taro.’
The CPU is combined with at least 8GB of multitasking RAM and MIUI x Android 12 on the new 5G Xiaomi smartphone. A 12GB model is available in the Xiaomi 12 series, which is presently only available in China. However, it is unclear whether it will be released outside of Xiaomi’s native market.

Benchmarks conducted prior to the launching of a product are rarely accurate. However, the Xiaomi 12 achieves 711 points on single-core tests and 2834 points on multi-core tests. It’s also worth noting that the Xiaomi 12 will be joined this year by a worldwide Pro model. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro was a China-only gadget last year.
