Xiaomi 12 Featured in Unofficial Product Mockups; More Specs Leaked

According to rumors, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, Pro, and regular variants will be released on December 12 or 16. However, neither date came and went without a Xiaomi 12 phone. The launch is still in the offing, giving the rumor mill time for a few last-minute leaks.

The unauthorised mockups match the rumoured Xiaomi 12 press image that has previously circulated online. After experimenting with the geometrically balanced and accentuated design of the Xiaomi 11, Xiaomi has back to the basic camera rectangle.’

The camera bump on Xiaomi’s new flagship smartphone protrudes a few millimetres from the case, which is chamfered and satin-finished. Inside the housing, there’s a cluster of three lenses and an LED flash. The Xiaomi 12 is coated to reduce flare and ghosting. The primary camera on this device has a 50MP sensor.

To reveal the Xiaomi 12’s screen, flip it over. It’s bent along the edges and punched in the middle once again. This year, Xiaomi has made the phone much more compact. The display was reduced from 6.81″ (on the previous generation) to 6.2″. The increased dimensions are more convenient for single-handed operation. It does, however, reach a maximum resolution of 1080P.

Despite its smaller size, Xiaomi managed to cram a 5000mAh battery into the Xiaomi 12 – 400mAh more than the Xiaomi 11. The Xiaomi 12 has, however, been certified with a 4500 mAh battery. As a result, Zoutons’ prediction could be incorrect. The phone uses 67 watts of power to charge. And at its core lies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It is said to start at INR 69,999 (Rs. 163,000).
