Vivo Y16 to Launch in Pakistan this Month; 6.51-inch LCD, 13MP Camera, 5000mAh Battery

After the Vivo V25 series was introduced in Pakistan, the chain switched to promoting the Vivo Y16 in the local market. The device is entry-level and offers great value for the money. An internal source made the observation that Y16 will enter our market this month, most likely by January 20. The launch is approaching quickly. Here is what to anticipate from this gadget.

The Vivo Y16 sports a slab-like shape and comes in the frosted hues Drizzling Gold and Stellar Black. Both color schemes are enhanced by the glossy surface around the camera plates. Directly from the shell, two camera silos protrude barely (no camera island).

The Vivo Y16 has a sizable 6.51-inch IPS panel with a v-notch that blends into the screen for its display. With 270 PPI on a 720p resolution, the bezels give the new phone an 82% screen-to-body ratio. The screen’s edges are rounded off by the 2.5D glass.

Users will find the Vivo Y16 with a 4GB + 64GB memory combination and MediaTek Helio P35 SoC operating at 2.3GHz maximum frequency in the key specifications. Up to 4GB of additional virtual memory from the storage will be made available. The new Vivo 4G phone features a side-facing biometric and an Android 12 experience out of the box.

This phone’s camera issue is bad. It has a standard 5MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture for self-portraits, a 13 MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture for wide photos on the back, and an additional 2 MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture for macro shots.

The Y16 captures 1080p videos at 30FPS. It has a 5000mAh battery hidden within and recharges with a 10W socket. It is anticipated to cost roughly 44,000 PKR in Pakistan. The Y22 was the last Y-series phone to arrive in Pakistan in 2022. Originally set at Rs. 47,999, the Vivo Y22’s launch price was eventually increased to Rs. 49,999.
