Vivo X80 5G Officially Announced in Pakistan; Launch Set for Next Week

The Vivo X80 5G is part of Vivo’s latest premium flagship phone range, which sits above the Vivo V23. It was recently released in China for the first time. Vivo is getting ready to launch in Pakistan. Vivo Pakistan’s website and social media have official teasers and landing pages promoting the phone’s features and launch timeline.

The Vivo X80 will be available on May 15th. Following the announcements, we anticipate a brief pre-order period. Until then, the price will remain a mystery. The Vivo X80 offers the following features.

The X80 has Vivo’s new design language for its flagship products. It has a camera island that runs the length of the casing and contains a ring that houses the triple-lens camera. The squarish case is available in black, blue, and faux leather or orange.

The price tags on Vivo Smartphones usually justify the specifications inside, so you can expect a user-friendly retail label. This time, flip the Vivo X80 over to reveal a slightly curved display (the last iteration featured a perfectly flat glass panel.) It’s a 6.78″ 1080P 120Hz AMOLED with a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The 32 MP front camera is embedded in the pin-hole cutout in the center.

Below the display, Vivo has buried an optical fingerprint scanner. A cluster of 50MP OIS and Laser AF wide-angle, 12MP 2x telephoto, and 12MP ultra-wide cameras can be found. They’re all designed in collaboration with ZEISS. In addition, the image processing is handled by a special V1+ chip included within the SoC.

A 4500 mAh battery and blistering 80W charging power everything. It claims to provide a 50 percent recharge in just 11 minutes! The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor powers the Vivo X80. It’s a strong flagship chip that competes with Apple’s A15 and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processors. The hardware is completed by up to 12GB of ultra-fast LPDDR5 memory and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
