Motorola announced the Moto E40 yesterday, but there are no specifics on when it will be available. Today, the firm remedied this by announcing that the phone will be available on India’s Flipkart on October 12th (Tuesday).
Pricing is still up in the air, but we can make an educated prediction. The Moto G10 Power was originally priced at INR 13,000 but is now available on Flipkart for INR 10,500. That works out to around $170 and $140. The G10 Power sports an extra camera (8 MP ultra-wide) and a larger battery (6,000 mAh) with faster charging than the G10 Plus (20W).
The Moto E40’s display, a 6.5″ IPS LCD with 720p+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate, stands out. With 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, the phone is powered by the Unisoc T700 processor. It has a triple card slot that can accommodate two SIM cards as well as a microSD card (up to 1 TB).
The 48 MP main camera and fingerprint reader are located on the back of the phone. On the side, there’s a dedicated Google Assistant key. The battery is smaller, but only when compared to the G10 Power – the 5,000 mAh power pack promises 40 hours of combined usage or up to 14 hours of video watching or up to 10 hours of web browsing in separate tasks.
Pink Clay and Carbon Gray will be available on the Moto E40. It will be released next week in India. The Motorola Tab G20, meantime, is available for pre-order on Flipkart (for INR 10,000) and will be released on October 20.
