Vivo’s flagship smartphone cameras have used micro-gimbal stabilization for several generations. With the new Tecno Camon 18 series, the budget-conscious brand Tecno took a page from that book. Last month, the new lineup was released in Africa. And it’s now on its way to Pakistan.

There has been no mention of a specific timetable. However, we anticipate that the announcement will be followed by a short pre-order period and early bird discounts.
The Tecno Camon 18 Premier edition includes the series’ highest-end camera. The phone’s main wide camera is mounted on a multi-axis gimbal module, which Tecno claims keeps it steady and shake-free.
The technology not only keeps your videos stable, but it also performs well in low-light conditions. A 12MP image sensor is hidden behind this stabilized lens. On the new Tecno price list, you get a 64 MP camera for portraits that optimizes both video and photos. Oppo has built a 32MP front-facing camera into the punch-hole.
An 8MP periscope-telephoto lens is also included in the camera cluster. It can zoom in 5x without losing resolution. In addition, when combined with 12x digital cropping, the Camon phone achieves 60x Hyper Zoom. Tecno employs AI magic in post-production to clean up shots and power the Super Moon mode.
The Camon 18 Premier is powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 processor, a 4750 mAh battery, and 256GB of storage. The 6.7-inch display is a 1080P OLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. This phone is charged with 33W of power. A baseline Camon 18 and a Camon 18P are also included in the series.
