The rumor mill has revealed practically everything you need to know about the next Galaxy S phones over the last few months. We already knew that the Samsung Galaxy S22 series would be released in 2022, but we didn’t have a firm date until today. The alleged release date of the Galaxy S22 lineup was leaked by a reliable phone leaker.
The Galaxy S22 series will be released on February 8, 2022, according to Ice Universe, a Chinese industry source with a long history of such leaks. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S22, and Galaxy S22 Plus are the three versions in the series.

As they prepare to launch their own flagship handsets, most phone manufacturers have many busy weeks ahead of them. Samsung, on the other hand, will not be among the first.
By February 8, at least five flagship phones from various brands are expected to be launched, according to the source. It’s worth noting, though, that most of these phones are initially limited to the Chinese market. Including, but not limited to, the Xiaomi 12, Motorola Edge X30, and Realme GT 2 Pro, all of which will be released soon and include Qualcomm’s cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU.

The non-pro Galaxy S22 versions are incremental increases over this year’s models, while the Samsung new extreme model is taking over the (probably) discontinued Galaxy Note’s mantle. It has a cylindrical, boxy shape, as well as a slot for Samsung’s most powerful camera system and a slot for the renowned S-pen.
