The Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra were put to the test by our host. Dropping the phone from six feet at various angles is part of this drop testing. The glass of the Galaxy S22 shatters on the first face-first tumble and comes loose. When dropped on the back, the cameras are unharmed, but the glass shell is damaged.
The Galaxy S22+ model suffers less damage, with only the corners cracking and shattering, with the glass shell coming loose when dropped first.
The latest addition to the Samsung price list curves smoothly along the edges, but if you drop the phone screen first, the S22 Ultra design defect becomes a flaw in durability. Except for the curved edges, which fracture on impact, the phone is unharmed. The rear panel is the same tale – the cameras are fine, but the glass is shattered and damaged. JerryRigEverything, another renowned YouTube channel, also tested the Ultra and awarded it a thumbs up for durability.
