The most recent Galaxy S22 series leaks have focused on the top-tier Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra edition. The S22 and S22 Plus, on the other hand, have recently stepped into the spotlight thanks to a very credible leak. The product designs for the two S-series flagships were leaked by a former Samsung employee.
Under the alias Super Roader, the ex-employee collaborated with designer Snoreyn to bring us mockups of the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus. As seen in the images, Samsung has only made minor changes to the design of the duo for next year.
The flat displays on the S22 and S22+ have a uniform, slim bezel and a hole-punch cutout in the center. Without the O-hole, this screen could easily be mistaken for the latest iPhones. The panels are expected to be even brighter in 2022, but they will still have a 1080P resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The S21 series debuted with a distinctive camera island that disappears into the frame.
The chassis itself has soft corners and curves along the edges. That design is carried over to the new Samsung S22 smartphones. However, the chrome accents on the wrap-around camera plate do not make it stand out.
The finish, on the other hand, blends in with the rest of the shell. It has a satin-matte finish and is available in at least one graphite color. The upcoming S21 Fan Edition will also have a similar design. The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is expected to be released in February 2022, following the January release of the S21 FE. We’ll keep you updated as the story progresses.
