Samsung hasn’t made any significant improvements over the previous version. Minimal and conservative design adjustments have been made. The camera and screens are nearly entirely recycled from the previous year. However, the headphone jack, which is now only seen on low-cost phones, is being phased out. The feature is no longer available on three of the four phones.
The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is the most affordable smartphone in this class (and the only one still with a 3.5mm audio jack intact.) It has a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip, which is an entry-level 5G chip with a 5000 mAh battery and 15W rapid charging. Despite the fact that the next-generation version is now available, the phone comes preinstalled with Android 11 OS x One UI.
It has a 6.6-inch 1080P IPS LCD screen with a peak refresh rate of 90Hz. On the back, there’s a quad-camera system with a 50MP wide-angle, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle, and two 2MP cameras. The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is a step up from the Galaxy A23. In this case, we’ll be looking at a 6.44″ 1080P AMOLED. However, it’s limited to a 60Hz refresh rate.
Except for the primary camera, which has a 48MP sensor, and the 5MP macro lens, the cameras are nearly identical. This phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor. However, the Galaxy A23 and the Galaxy A23 share the same battery size, charging support, and inbuilt OS.
The Samsung Galaxy A53 is the series’ real mid-ranger. Last year, it was one of Samsung’s best-selling products. And the phone manufacturer is attempting to reclaim its previous popularity. They’re employing their own Exynos 1200 chip instead of Qualcomm silicon. It has a 5000 mAh battery with charging speeds of 25W.
The screen is a 6.52″ 1080P AMOLED with a refresh rate of 120 times per second. It has a cluster of 64MP wide, 12MP ultra-wide, 5MP portrait, and 5MP macro lenses in its quad-camera.

The Samsung Galaxy A73 is a ‘premium’ mid-range smartphone. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor and a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging. It has a bigger 6.7-inch 120Hz 1080P AMOLED display. The camera system includes a 108MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, an 8MP telephoto camera, and a 2MP portrait camera.
