Samsung Galaxy A33, A53, and A73 to Officially Launch On March 17; Marketing Images Leak

Some of Samsung’s best-selling phones are part of the Galaxy A series. And the Galaxy line’s next generation has been widely awaited and rumored. A trusted industry analyst, Evan Blass, has released a promotional poster for the upcoming Galaxy A Event. The date is set for March 17, 2022, according to Samsung. It will, of course, be a virtual event that you can watch on Samsung’s own website.

Other than that, the advertising poster is devoid of any useful information. However, based on numerous earlier reports, we anticipate the Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53, and Samsung Galaxy A73 to be unveiled on March 17. Samsung’s current best-sellers, the Galaxy A72, and Galaxy A52 were both unveiled on this date last year.

Here are a handful of the new lineup’s major highlights. First and foremost, Samsung is upgrading its Galaxy A mid-range phones to 5G. The Galaxy A53 and A73 will be available in a single 5G variant at a low Samsung price, with no LTE versions (presumably for good.)

The new chip at the heart of Galaxy phones is another feature worth mentioning. Samsung has shifted to its own Exynos 1280 CPU, which was developed in-house. Although the System-on-Chip has not been officially unveiled, it is said to be built on a cutting-edge 5nm node.

The removal of the headphone port from higher-end Galaxy A phones is likely the most significant move. Not to mention the charging brick being missing from the retail packaging. Both trends began with the flagship lines, and now the more economical versions are being phased out. Finally, Samsung has achieved IP certifications against dust and water on all of its products.
