Realme has had a hectic February this year. In Pakistan, the Realme 9i has just been released. At the MWC Barcelona 2022, the flagship GT2 series will make its global debut. Android phones have come a long way in terms of charging technology, and 65W power is nearly the norm for modern smartphones. However, Realme’s latest innovation promises to increase the speeds to a stupidly high 200W.
On its social media channels, Realme has already posted posters advertising the ‘World’s Fastest Charging Tech.’ The ads don’t mention the Realme new phone model or the charging technology’s exact specifications, but a photo of the charging brick in question was posted online. It defines a 200W (20V/10A) output. Infinix has announced the availability of its 160W charging technology. As a result, Realme will have to battle against Infinix for the crown. When it’s demoed during the February 28 event, we’ll know for sure.

Realme isn’t the only company to announce a cutting-edge charging system. Similar teasers were seen last year, but for 125W support. The next-generation UltraDART charge was meant to provide a full charge in under 20 minutes! For a 33 percent recharge, only three minutes would be required. Xiaomi touted their own 200W hypercharge concept, but the company has yet to put it to market.
However, it was never accompanied by a Realme phone. For blazing-fast charging speeds, safety and battery health are top issues. Realme appears to have finally worked out the kinks.
