The Helio G96 SoC powers the 8i, and the software includes Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0, with an early access build of Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 expected in Q1 2022.
The 8i has four cameras: a 16MP selfie shooter in the punch hole, a triple camera system on the back with 50MP main, 2MP macro, and 2MP monochrome units, and a 16MP selfie shooter within the punch hole.
The Realme 8i is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that can draw up to 18W of power from a USB-C connector. The phone also has a fingerprint reader on the side for unlocking without a password.
