OPPO has formally introduced the Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro around the globe. It’s time for a Z version once again. Given that Indonesia Telecom and NBTC have both given the Reno 8Z 5G a position, it will soon be available. The smartphone is identified by the CPH2457 model number. Similar to its predecessor, the Reno 7Z, the OPPO Reno 8Z 5G will be powered by a Snapdragon 695 chipset that supports 5G connectivity. In fact, the recently leaked renders show that the device is a rebadged Reno 7z 5G.
An octa-core SoC with two Kryo 660 Gold cores clocked at 2.21 GHz and six Kryo 660 Silver cores clocked at 1.8 GHz make up the CPU within the phone. Along with this processor, there is an Adreno 619 graphics processor.
According to the Geekbench 5 scores, the Reno 8Z scored 1920 points in multi-core testing compared to 687 points in single-core testing. The Reno 8Z 5G 8GB variant is used for testing; however, further RAM and storage options are anticipated. Additionally, the device will run ColorOS 12.1, which is based on Android 12. The cost of the Oppo phone is still unknown. The Reno 8Z would include a 4,500 mAh battery cell supporting 33W SuperVOOC technology, according to earlier speculations.
