OPPO has just finished releasing the Reno 8 lineup to the rest of the world. However, the Reno series isn’t yet finished for the year. Product certifications for the Reno 8Z 5G smartphone have already begun to be collected, adding to the trio of smartphones released last week: the OPPO Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 Pro Plus.

The NBTC approved the OPPO Reno 8Z 5G, which is labeled as “CPH2457” and is likely to feature in future certifications. The phone will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 33-watt rapid charging. According to the certification, the new model will ship with Android 12 and ColorOS 12.1.1 installed.
The Reno 8Z 5G will succeed the Reno 7Z 5G, which debuted in March 2022. When compared to the Reno 7 5G, the 7Z had fewer features, such as display limits, inferior cameras, and a less powerful chipset.
It’s also worth noting that the Reno 8 has a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor and a 90 Hz AMOLED screen. Following the tradition of past “Z” model launches, it’s conceivable that OPPO’s next Reno mobile, the 8Z 5G, will include an AMOLED screen with a 60 Hz refresh rate and a processor with lower benchmarks.
