We’ll start with the Density 700, which is at the heart of the Oppo A55s 5G. It’s a 7nm chip with a maximum CPU clock speed of 2.2GHz. This MediaTek platform is powered by a 5000 mAh battery that does not allow fast charging. You can choose between 4GB and 8GB of memory. Both have 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded. This system runs Android 11 x ColorOS, which is the most recent version of Android.
Next, we’ll take a look at the display, which trails far behind the competition. It’s a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a typical 60Hz refresh rate and a dismal 720P resolution. The marketing materials make no mention of screen brightness or protection.
The design features a chamfered plastic casing, a black rectangular camera cutout, and a single-tone gradient finish. You may choose from golden, blue, or black for the upcoming addition to the Oppo price list. The Oppo A55s has a total of four cameras (but only two are usable.)

Behind the front camera is an 8MP sensor. The primary lens on the back has a resolution of 13MP. This setup is completed by a low-res 4cm macro shooter and a 2MP ‘depth’ lens.
It’s worth noting that the Oppo A55s 5G has a Japanese counterpart that was released last year. Despite having the same model name, it’s a completely different phone. The Oppo A55s 5G in China costs CNY 1600 (about Rs. 46,000).
