OnePlus 9 RT specs officially confirmed, sales begin October 19

OnePlus said yesterday that the OnePlus 9 RT will be unveiled on October 13, and today the company verified the smartphone’s major specifications.

The Snapdragon 888 SoC will power the OnePlus 9 RT, which will be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It will have a 120Hz E4 screen and a 4,500mAh battery that will charge at 65W.

We don’t know how much RAM the OnePlus 9 RT will have because of Geekbench, but we do know it will have 12GB. However, an 8GB variant will almost certainly be available.

The phone maker has stated that the 9 RT will come in two color variants and that pre-orders will begin on October 13 in China, with the first sale on October 19.

Those interested in pre-ordering the OnePlus 9 RT can do so through online retailers JD.com and Suning.com, and photos posted on the retailers’ websites confirm the device will have a 50MP primary camera.

We’re still four days away from the launch, so expect more information regarding the OnePlus 9 RT in the days leading up to it.
