The Hot catalog by Infinix keeps growing. As a new entry-level device, Infinix Hot 20 Play joins the Hot 20 and Hot 20s Mid-range models in the same family. All three adhere to the same backplate and lens selection designs. The newcomer’s specs have been slightly reduced, though.

The 6.82-inch IPS display, which spans the entire screen and has a punch-hole camera and a slightly elevated chin, sets the tone for the device. The Infinix Hot 12 Play’s new replacement has a screen that features a 90Hz refresh rate and 720p HD+ quality. The sandwich of glass and plastic weighs 209g and has dimensions of 171 x 78 x 8.9 mm.
Even though it has basic optics and is in the entry-level market, it manages to get by with a 13MP Alpha lens and a QVGA sensor. An 8MP camera with the Infinix-exclusive dual-LED flash is housed inside the front-punch hole for improved night selfies.
Infinix has given Hot 20 Play an Helio G37 12nm processor, which can raise the core clocks to 2.3GHz, to add some intrigue to the situation. The new Infinix Hot mobile has 4GB RAM and 64/128GB of storage in order to extract the maximum performance from the CPU. However, employing a PowerVR GPU still produces subpar visual performance.

There is a benefit to the recent Hot Play’s peculiar footprint. Under the phone’s deck is a huge 6000mAh Li-Po battery that is powered by an 18W power adaptor. The included 5W reverse charge facilitates plugging in additional devices while traveling.
To go above and beyond, Infinix equipped the HOT 20 Play with stereo speakers, Dual-SIM, a 3.5mm jack, face unlock, a rear-mounted biometric, USB-Type C, and an SD card slot. The device will come in Racing Black, Luna Blue, Aurora Green, and Fantasy Purple and run Android 12. The official cost and the scheduled areas are still unknown.
