ColorOS 12 is built on the stable Android 12 and will be available on 52 Oppo smartphones by the end of 2022, unlike the Chinese version of the software. The business even provided a timeline for when ColorOS 12 would be available for your Oppo device. Note that the timetable below is for the beta version; the release date for the stable update has yet to be determined.
Naturally, the Find X3 Pro will be the first to receive it, with the rollout beginning today (the rest of the X3 series will have to wait until next year). Only Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia are part of the current deployment. Another limitation is that you must have an unlocked phone (carrier models are not eligible for the beta).
The beta will be available next month for the Find X2 series and a few Reno6 variants. In December, the rest of the Reno6 lineup, as well as older Reno5 devices and a few other phones, will get it. For the time being, there is no official OnePlus device roadmap. Only the Chinese versions of OnePlus’ phones are getting ColorOS 12 ahead of the rest of the world. As a result, current devices will continue to run OxygenOS for the time being.
